[Intro]
D Bm A

D Bm A
With the arrogance of the drunk pedestrian
D Bm A
Taxi driver looks down my girlfriends top
D Bm A
Asks politely if he can be a gentlemen
D Bm A
Pulls his aviators down so he doesn't have to stop

[Chorus]
Bm D
And we'll keep on through the shit storm

Until the metaphors are literal
Bm
Forced screams are guttural
D
And we'll keep on through the shit storm

Until the metaphors, until the metaphors

[Chorus]
G A G A
When I said this is all I had I meant it

D Bm A D
Nice speak in the tired clichés of a strip club DJ
Bm A
Marvelous things so quickly get mundane
D Bm
When you see the scaffolding behind me
A
And all the dirty air it always blocks your way

Bm D
And we'll keep on through the shit storm

Until the metaphors are literal
Bm
Forced screams are guttural
D
And we'll keep on through the shit storm
Bm A
Until the metaphors, until the metaphors

Until the metaphors

G A G A
When I said this was all I had I meant it
G A G A
When I said this was all I had I meant it
Em F#m G A
When you said I was a bad person I felt it
Em F#m G A
When I said this was all I had I meant it
Em F#m G A
When you said that I had destroyed you
Em F#m G A
I knew that part of you was trying to destroy me too
Em F#m G A
When I said that I wanted to die I meant it
Em F#m G A
When I said that you saved my life I meant it

But goodbye

(Bm D A G )
(Goodbye ) x3

end on A
