According to their MySpace: "The Rabbit Joint was originally from Maryland. Then they were from NYC. Then they were from Boston. Then they turned into Bluegrazer." Main band members are Joe Pleiman and Jesse Spence.

The Rabbit Joint is known particularly in online vgm circles for the song "Zelda," about the popular Nintendo franchise. The act is often mistaken for System of a Down, due to the fact that the vocals of both sound similar.
