The Pursuit of Happiness are a Canadian band. Led by Edmonton, Alberta singer/songwriter Moe Berg, The Pursuit of Happiness (TPOH) were launched in 1985 when Berg and drummer Dave Gilby moved to Toronto, Ontario. They soon met bassist Johnny Sinclair and formed the band, adding twins Tam and Tasha Amabile as backing vocalists.

Their debut single, I'm an Adult Now, quickly became a hit across Canada in 1986, sparked by a low-budget video which made it onto the Canadian music video channel MuchMusic.

She’s So Young – The Pursuit of Happiness

This is a pretty straightforward strumming pattern. The only quirk is the
Em7 with the * beside it. It’s basically an Em7 played as a barre chord at
the 7th fret. You lift the middle and ring fingers off leaving the barre at
the 7th and then back to playing the Em7. Listen to the song for the strum
pattern. Most of the song is played with the barre versions of the chords
but still sounds OK with open chords too.
