Biography:

The Once is a folk trio based in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. The trio is comprised of Geraldine Hollett from Burin, Phil Churchill from Corner Brook and Andrew Dale from Coley's Point.

The trio first met in the summer of 2005 while working with the Rising Tide Theatre Company in Trinity. There they discovered a mutual appreciation for folk/traditional music, particularly for the music of their native Newfoundland and the British Isles.
