NC (fingersnaps)
I, I won’t build you up
NC (fingersnaps)
I’ll, I’ll let you know what you need
NC (fingersnaps) C
I’ll, I’ll tip you generously if you come and dance with me

Dm F
I’ll, I’ll open up my heart
Dm F
If you’ll just open up your mind
Dm A Bb F C
And I’ll sing for you all night for free if you’ll come and dance with me

Chorus:
C Bb C Bb C
At the front of the bar but at the back of the line
C Bb C Bb A
I’ll spill my dime on the wood to buy you wine on your overtime

Dm F
I, I won’t build you up
Dm F
Cause from the looks of you, you get it all the time
Dm A Bb F C
And I got a better chance if we dance than if I’m funny and cool with the lines

Chorus:
C Bb C Bb C
At the front of the bar but at the back of the line
C Bb C Bb A
I’ll spill my dime on the wood to buy you wine on your overtime

Bridge:
Dm Bb
I could have walked you home if you’d known that the song was for you
C
and the drink that you drank was from me

Bb
But I ain’t got the sand to withstand the push from the crowd
C
the push from the crowd and the fight in the street

NC (claps)
At the front of the bar but at the back of the line
NC (claps)
At the front of the bar but at the back of the line

At the front of the bar but at the back of the line
