The Menzingers

Whos Your Partner

by The Menzingers
The Menzingers

Biography:

The Menzingers originally formed after the dissolution of Bob And The Sagets, a band local to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area of Pennsylvania. With the addition of Greg Barnett the band recorded a demo/self-released album "A Lesson In The Abuse Of Information Technology" in 2006.

Shortly thereafter they were signed by Go-Kart Records and re-recorded the songs from "A Lesson" and re-released their album with the addition of some new tracks.

At the Fest VII in Gainesville

Tuning:

Great song here by a great band. I saw them play this live, and I know they used a
capo on some songs, but I can't remember if they did or not on this. Anyways, you
could probably put one on the third fret make it a little easier. Tab is at the bottom.

INTRO: A#

VERSE: (w/ verse lead)
A#
I was born on a light-skinned road,
I was born with an engineers gold,

A#
We shared our cigarettes,
At the window we placed our bets,

So we laughed through glossy eyes,
Surely the gods would recognize,
Gm A#
Our good intentions, we showed them, The sweat covered our skin.

BRIDGE: (w/lead)
F
We aged a decade in an hour,
D#
We gave away our innocence.
A#

INTERLUDE:

So let these simple songs get caught in our heads,
Gm
Brace the frames of our worthless beds.
A#
All my life never gave a fuck,
Gm D#
Someone please wake me up.

GUITAR SOLO:
A# Gm

OUTRO:
