Verse:
G9 D9 C G9
Oh the time will come up when the winds will stop
Em7 C9 G9
And the breeze will cease to be a-breathin
D9 C G9
Like the stillness in the wind before the hurricane begins,
C9 G9
The hour that the ship comes in
D9 C G9
And the sea will split and the ships will hit
D9 C G9
And the sands on the shoreline will be shaking
D9 C G9
And the tide will sound and the waves will pound
Em7 C9 D9 C G9
And the morning will be a-breaking

Verse:
G9 D9 C G9
Oh the fishes will laugh as they swim out of the path
Em7 C9 G9
And the seagulls they will be a-smilin'
D9 C G9
And the rocks on the sand will proudly stand
C9 G9
The hour that the ship comes in
D9 C G9
And the words that are used for to get the ship confused

Will not be understood as they're spoken

And be buried on the bottom of the oooooocean

The hour that the ship comes in
D9 C G9
And the sands will roll out a carpet of gold
D9 C G9
For your wearied toes to be a-touchin'
D9 C G9
And the ship's wise men will remind you once again

That the whole wide world is waaaaatchin'

G9
And they'll know that it's for real,
C9 G9
The hour that the ship comes in
D9 C G9
And they'll raise their hands, Sayin' we'll meet all you demands
D9 C G9
But we'll shout from the bow, Your days are numbered
D9 C G9
And like Pharoah's tribe they'll be drownded in the tide
Em7 C9 D9 C G9
And like Goliath they'll be cooooonquered
