Brand new song, they've played it live but now the final version is here. Some words are off here and there
and some plain missing cause I learned them by ear. If you have corrections in them let me
know. Enjoy!

I play E and Emaj7, respectively, as:

e|-------|
A|-9---9-|
D|-9---8-|
G|-9---9-|
B|-7---7-|
E|-------|

[Intro/Verse]

E - Emaj7 x2 G#m - A - C#m - D - B

[Verse 1]

E Emaj7 E Emaj7 G#m
Here's a story about the rules of death or glory to be learned by heart by all children or
men.
A C#m D
It's the hour of the morning on the day after the dawning when the sun they said

would never set,
B
it finally set again.
E Emaj7 E Emaj7 G#m
Was it Cromwell or Orwell who first lead you to the stairwell which leads only forever to

kingdoms to come?
A C#m
Rushed alone by guiding hands, whispers of the promised land
D B
They wished you luck and handed you a gun

[Chorus]

C E
Life could be so handsome
C E
Life could be so gay
C E
We're going nowhere
D B
But nowhere, nowhere is on our way

[Verse 2]

E Emaj7 E Emaj7
In the pub that night racking out the lines of shite
G#m
Putting to right all of the world's great wrongs
A C#m D
Yes we thought that they were brothers then they half-murdered each other, then they did a
B
karaoke turn and murdered our best song
E Emaj7 E Emaj7 G#m
Told the governor's wife about the last night of his life, she turned away in tears called

you a liar
A C#m
Where are all your dreams now? The battalions, once so proud,
D B
Lost in some old song and hanging on the old barbed-wire

[Chorus]

C E
Well life could be so handsome
C E
It's all going to be okay
C E
We're going nowhere
D B
But nowhere, nowhere is on our way

[Instrumental]

E - C - E - C - E - C - D - B

[Verse 3]

E Emaj7 E Emaj7
Nowhere in the institutions, did they teach that revolution?
G#m
Something that could ever come to pass
A C#m
All we tried once before was the king's head on the floor
D B
And we got booted out the boozer cause someone smashed the glass

[Chorus]

C E
Life could be so handsome
C E
Life could be okay
C E
We're going nowhere
D B
But nowhere, nowhere is on our way
C E
Life could be so handsome
C E
It's all gonna be okay
C E
We're going nowhere
D B
But nowhere, nowhere is on our way
