MY HERO ZERO

Transcribed by DEVON GREEN

SPOKEN: zero?

yeah, zero's my hero

how can zero be a hero

well there are all kinds of heros you know a man can be a hero for a
famous battle he fought or by studing very hard to become a weightless
astronaut, and then there are uhhhhhh heros of other sorts like heros
from watching sports but a hero doesn't have to be a grown person, a
hero can be a very large DOG who comes to your rescue or a very little
child thats smart enough to know what to do, but let me tell ya about my
favorite hero....

(bass slide from B to...)

E5 E5 B5
My hero zero, such a funny little hero but till you came along
E5 A
we counted on out fingers and toes, but now your here to stay,
E A
and nobody really knows, how wonderful you are,
G B5 E5 D5
we could never reach the stars, without you zero my hero
A E
how wonderful you are.

spoken 1: whats' so wonderful about zero, its nothing isn't it?
2: sure it represents nothing-

B5 E5
But place a zero after 1 and you've got yourself a 10, see how important that is
B5 E5
When you run outta digits start all over again see how convenent that is
A G
Thats with only 10 digits including zero
C Bb F E5
you can count as high as you ever need to go, forever toward infinity
G A B5
no one ever gets there but you can try
E5 E5 B5
10 billion zeros from the cavemen to the wierdos who invented
E5
you, they counted on their fingers and toes
maybe sticks and stones, rocks and bones, or neighbors toes
A
yeah yeah
E5 A
and nobody really knows, how wonderful you are
G B5 E5 D5
why we could never reach the stars without you zero my hero
A E5
zero how wonderful you are
B5 E5
Place on zero after any number you've multipled that # by 10 see how easy that is
B5 E5
Place 2 zeros after any number you've multipled that # by 100 see how simple that is
B5 E5
Place 3 zeros after any number you've multipled that # by 1000

A G B5 E D
etc, etc, ad infinitum, ad astra, forever and ever
A E5
with zero my hero, how wonderful you are
