Capo 3

Intro - Em C Bm D2 x2

Em C Am7
Pacing the deck a lonely bosun
D Bm C Am7 D
Jack-tarred and fired beneath the salt of ocean
Em C Am7
Lend me an anchor to sink this planet
D Bm C Am7 D
Unhook these arms to ply their godly habit
?
C D Bm Am7 D
There's so many tides are made to go to waste?
C D
So many tides are made to go to waste

Em C Bm D (x2)

Em C Am7
Veining the eyes as ages alter?
D Bm C Am7 D
This sacred trade is everywhere and nowhere?
Em C Am7
Hung out to dry in tall black cabins
D Bm C Am7 D
Facing the cliffs the gangs of gulls inhabit

C D Bm Am7 D
There's so many tides are made to go to waste?
C D
So many tides are made to go to waste

Em C Bm D (x2)

Em F C Am
Even now the hauls are all poured out
D Bm
Wasting in the midday sun
C
And the yards will be replaced anon
C D Bm Em
And we all shall be replaced anon
