The Jesus and Mary Chain

Man On The Moon

by The Jesus and Mary Chain
The Jesus and Mary Chain

Biography:

The Jesus and Mary Chain are a chaotic, noisy indie quartet formed in Scotland, blending the Beach Boys' sunny pop with the Velvet Underground's black-leather cool. Brothers Jim Reid and William Reid, from East Kilbride, Glasgow, Scotland were the primary songwriters. "The JAMC" released a constant string of albums, singles and EPs until their demise in 1998. Having influenced many post-punk and noise rock bands, the group finally reunited in 2007.

Hi, my name is dann, didn't see these chords up so i figured it out, You'll get
the hang of it easy after a couple plays.

D A
Come visit soon
G D A
Sure gets lonely living here on the moon
I’ve got a tale to tell
About my planetary prison cell
We could shoot the breeze
Go out walking in the godless freeze
I’ve got a mind to kill
But there’s no people here so it’s no thrill
G
But I can’t find the sky
I can’t find the sea
I can’t find the people
I guess the people can’t find me

D C

G

Solitary space
I’ve been staring at the mirror’s face
Another perfect day
It means nothing when you live this way

But I guess it’s alright
I guess it’s okay
I guess it’s alright
I guess it’s got to be this way

Come visit soon
Sure gets lonely living here on the moon
