Terrific song by The Homeless Gospel Choir. It's the last song on "I Used To Be So Young", if you're trying to
find it. If you have any requests for other songs by this guy, leave them in the comments, and I'll try to
throw them together.

[Intro]
C

[Chorus]
C
Well you came here with nothing

G C
That's how you'll go

C G C
No money, no cars, and no fancy clothes

C
There were tears when you got here

G C
And tears when you leave

Am G
And I might not know much

F C
But this I believe

Am G
I might not know that much

F C
But this I believe

[Verse]
C G C
Well the songs that I'm singing ain’t easy to hear

C G C
So tell all your children to cover their ears

C G C
Someone tell my sweetheart this might be the end

Am G F C
For this is the tension, the break and the bend

Am G F C
For this is the tension, the break and the bend

[Verse]

C G C
I ain't no lawyer or no doctor's son

C G C
I may never have money, and I live on the run

C G C
But I'm not running from the truth or my past

Am G F (One strum)
I'm running towards something new

[Chorus]
C
Cause you came here with nothing

G C
That's how you'll go

C G C
No money, no cars, and no fancy clothes

C
There were tears when you got here

G C
And tears when you leave

Am G
And I might not know much

F C
But this I believe

Am G
I might not know that much

F C
But this I believe

[Verse]

C G C
The songs that I'm singing may not make a dime

C G C
And that is the reason I wrote them this time

C G C
Cause you can't take it with you when you meet your end

Am G
Ask my grandpa, my brother

F C
They'll tell ya my friends

Am G
Ask my grandpa, my brother

F C
They'll tell ya my friends

Am G
Ask my grandpa, my brother

F C
They'll tell ya my friends

Am G
Ask my grandpa, my brother

F C
They'll tell ya my friends

[Chorus]
C
Well you came here with nothing

G C
That's how you'll go

C G C
No money, no cars, and no fancy clothes

C
There were tears when you got here

G C
And tears when you leave

Am G
And if I die with nothing

F C
Then I have all I need

Am G
If you die with nothing

F C
You have all you need

Am G
If we die with nothing

F C
Then we have all we need
