Beautiful song, easy to play! This should be pretty much spot on...

[Verse]

G Em
Well the clouds in the sky
Bm C
And your winter clothes are sadly a condition of life
G Em Bm C
In this land, where the sun is as shy as long forgotten manners of old

G Em Bm C x2

G Em Bm C
I can't wait for a time when the Summer sun is back up in the sky,
G Em Bm C
We can stay out at night and forget about the failing light

[Bridge]

G C A D
I wanna walk in the park and smell the freshly cut grass (Please keep off the grass)
G C A D
As the summer breeze blows up your skirt, what more can I ask (I can see your arse)

[Chorus]

G D
At last I shed my winter clothes
G C D G
At last I'm over the moon, I'm under the sun
D G
At last I met a girl,
C D G Em Bm C
Her head full of curls and diamonds and pearls.

(the chorus goes directly back into the chord progression of the verse - listen to the song to figure it out)

[Verse]

G Em Bm C
While you work on your tan travelling from Thailand to Milan
G Em Bm C
We're in Morris the van, from Bridlington to Camber Sands

[Bridge]

G C A D
You go Pick Your Own Fruit and eat till you end up ill (We've all had our fill)
G C A D
We share a tinny or two on the top of the hill (Found my thrill at last)

[Chorus]

G D
At last I shed my winter clothes
G C D G
At last I'm over the moon, I'm under the sun
D G
At last I met a girl,
C D G
Her head full of curls and diamonds and pearls.

[Middle]
G Em Bm C x2

[Verse]

G Em Bm C
Well the sand in your shoes and your sunburnt toes may trigger off the summertime blues
G Em Bm C
Don't be daft, shrug 'em off 'cause we ain't got a moment to lose

G Em Bm C
We better hit the arcades, spend an hour spending our loose change
G Em Bm C
Give the ghost train a ride and kiss my future bride (Not Frankenstein's)

[Bridge]

G C A D
We get a lift down the beach with the boys all crammed in the back (Boys crammed in the back)
G C A D
Barely enough room for the ball and a twenty-four pack (What more could I ask)

[Chorus]

G D
At last I shed my winter clothes
G C D G
At last I'm over the moon, I'm under the sun
D G
At last I met a girl,
C D G D
Her head full of curls and diamonds and pearls.
G D
Diamonds and pearls.
G D
Diamonds and pearls.
G D
Diamonds and pearls

[Outro]
G Em Bm C
