Four years of hard work!

This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!

Tuned to DGCFAD (one whole step down from standard).

Typical Fallon open chord shapes:

G - 320033
Cadd9 - x32033
Dsus4 - xx0233
Em - 022000
Em7 - 022033
B7 - x21200

Em* is played by hammering on and off between 022000 and 020000.
It's not necessary, you can just play a simple Em there, but it gives you the sound
of the lead part Alex plays here.

The lead lick at the very end before you ring out an open Em is simple; Gaslight/Fallon often use it
in the key of G:

e|------------------0-------------------------------------------|
B|------------------0--------------------------------------------|
G|-2--4--2--0-------0--------------------------------------------|
D|------------------2--------------------------------------------|
A|------------------2--------------------------------------------|
E|------------------0--------------------------------------------|

[Intro]

Em

[Verse]

Em
Show me your hands
G
I wanna know how you dance pretty baby, by the light of the moon
Cadd9 G Dsus4
Do you carry your lovers around in a heart like a tomb with a view?
Em7
I wanna know how you lose, pretty baby, does it show in your eyes?
G
Were you born to be a runner, or are you a casual sigh?
Cadd9 B7
Did the boys at school break your precious heart in two?

[Pre-Chorus]

Em7 Cadd9
And in every sad, sad country song
G Dsus4
Is there a little bitty piece of 'em still hanging on?
Em7 Cadd9 G
You tell me yours and I'll tell you mine, my dear
Dsus4 Em*
And we'll bury these old ghosts here

[Interlude]

Em* G Dsus4

Em*

[Verse]

G Em
Where'd you get those eyes?
G
What do you see with those eyes, pretty darling, in the dead of the night?
Cadd9
Are you saying your prayers or are you glowing like the metal
G Dsus4
on the edge of the knife?
Em7
Baby whose name sounds right on the lips of my queen?
G
Am I speaking in riddles, or do you feel what I mean?
Cadd9 B7
Are you dying to move, or are you dying to be the one moved?

[Chorus]

Em7 Cadd9
And would you shake, shake, shake, shake, shake Senora?
G Dsus4
If I could make you feel like he used to make you feel
Em7 Cadd9 G
I'll sing you a song and I'll dance you a dance right now
Dsus4
Right now
Em7 Cadd9
And would you shake, shake, shake, shake, shake Senora?
G Dsus4
If I could make you feel like he used to make you feel
Em7 Cadd9 G
I'll sing you a song and I'll dance you a dance right now

[Outro]

Em7 Cadd9 G
And we'll bury these old ghosts down
Dsus4 Em7 Cadd9 G
And we'll bury these old ghosts down
Dsus4 Em7
We'll bury these old ghosts down
Cadd9 G
Down, down, down
Dsus4 Em7
Down, Darlin', down
Cadd9 G Dsus4 Em
Down, down
