Brother you don't know a nicer occupation, matter of fact, neither do I;
D7 G G7 CM7 Am7
Than standing on the corner, watching all the girls,
C G7 Em Am G Am7 C7 B7
Watching all the girls, watching all the girls; go by.

Em7 Am7 Em7 Am7 Em7 Am7 Em7 C
I'm the cat, that got the cream, haven't got a girl, but I can dream;

Haven't got a girl, but I can wish, so, I take me down to Main Street,
G Bm7 G G7 Am7 D7 Am7 D7
And that's where I select, my imaginary dish.

G G7 C D7 G Bb D7
Standing on the corner, watching all the girls go by;
G G7 CM7 Am D7 Am7 D7
Standing on the corner, giving all the girls the eye;
D G B7 C F Fm Bm7 D7 Am7
Brother if you've got a rich imagination, give it a whirl, give it a try;
G G7 CM7 Am7
Try standing on the corner, watching all the girls,
C G7 Em Am G Am7 C7 B7
Watching all the girls, watching all the girls; go by.

Em7 Am7 Em7 Am7 Em7 C Em7 C
Saturday, and I'm so broke, haven't got a girl, and that's no joke;
G Em G Am7 G Bb
Still I'm living like, a millionaire, when I take me down to Main Street,
G Bm7 G G7 Am7 D7 Am7 D7
And I review the harem, parading for me there.

G G7 C D7 G Bb D7
Standing on the corner, watching all the girls go by;
G G7 CM7 Am D7 Am7 D7
Standing on the corner, underneath the springtime sky;
D G B7 C
Brother, you can't go to jail for what you're thinking,
F Fm Bm7 D7 Am7
Or for the wolf, (wolf whistle) look in your eye.

G G7 CM7 Am7
You're only standing on the corner, watching all the girls,
C G7 Em Am
Watching all the girls, watching all the girls,
Ab G Am7 C7 Bm7 D7 G
(Wolf whistle), go by……………………………
