Biography:
The Academic is an indie/rock band from Mullingar, Ireland. The band formed when the members were in their early teens and preform many live shows in order to build a bigger following.
The member are Craig Fitzgerald on lead vocals/guitar, Dean Gavin (Drums) and brothers Stephen (Bass) and Matt Murtagh (Lead Guitar).
Most of 2013 for the band consisted on writing a debut EP expected in 2015.
Their debut album Tales from the Backseat was released on Jan 12th 2018
