Four years of hard work!

This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!

Most of his strumming he is muting the low strings
and letting the high strings ring

The chords that Said are what I heard and the song still
sounds great with only open chords.

[Intro]
(In the intro and through the song he hammers on to the 4 fret of the D string
with his pinky while playing a D chord and then he just strums it. But if you
want to just start your pinky on the fourth fret it still sounds fine.)

[Verse 1]
D A Bm
Come back home to the hearth you wallowed
D A Bm
All that time, out your own damn body
D A Bm
Soul worn down to the pavement, bloody
D A Bm
The corner store still takes our rubbish

[Pre-Chorus]
He goes G then D then A but in the song his G is like a C shape
Barred on the 7th fret and he's barring the D chord. And since
Its a big jump from an open A to the 7th fret G, its ok to play
an A barre chord but the open A still sounds alright.

G D A
To the bay state, where we'll lay down in the ground
G D A
To the lady, with a pin stuck in her frown
G D A
To the warehouse, allowed for me to dream
D A
To the vibrant college scene
D A
To the addicts coming clean
D A
To the place apart of me

[Chorus]
G D A
Oh, New England
G D
Our, New England
A G D A
To live and die in New England
G
Oh, New England
A/D
An autumn paradise

[Verse 2]
D A Bm
Come back home to the ones who raised you
D A Bm
All that time in the cold, dark basement
D A Bm
All grown up in the face, black and blue
D A Bm
The old red line still takes where you want to

[Pre-Chorus 2]
G D A
To the bay state, where we'll lay down in the ground
G D A
To the lady, who grew up by herself
G D A
To the shipyard, oh dad had used his hands
D A
To the Sunday football stands
D A
To the sea wall where I planned
D A
To the place I've grown, a man

[Chorus]
G D A
Oh, New England
G D
My, New England
A G D A
To live and die in New England
G
Oh, New England
A/D
An autumn paradise
