This tag can refer to two different artists:
1. Peter Cornelius (born January 29, 1951 in Vienna, Austria) is an Austrian pop-singer, guitarist and a former member of Enigma.

2. Peter Cornelius, also known as Carl August Peter Cornelius, (24 December 1824 – 26 October 1874) was a German composer, writer about music, poet and translator. He was born and died in Mainz where his grave in the Hauptfriedhof survives.

Note: The original is sung in Austrian dialect, this is my personal
standard German (Hochdeutsch) version of the song, the way I like to
play and to sing it. You might prefer to sing it with Austrian accent (if you can ;-)). And also,
you can play Dm instead of Dm7 everywhere, but to me Dm7 just sounds better in some passages ;-)
