Stroke 9 formed in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1989. The band has since recorded five albums and toured extensively in the United States, Canada and Europe. Fueled by the commercial success of the hit song “Little Black Backpack,” their third album, “Nasty Little Thoughts,” went gold in 2000. I must say...it's a nice song. Not very well-known, but it works :) Hope you enjoy
What I noticed with the chords and progressions is, there would be delays between each chord change, almost as
if it were palm mutes or extra notes in-between. I dunno; my ears might be getting worse nowadays.
Strum pattern, as I played it was, repeatedly, : D-D-D-D-DUD-D-D, where the DUD was the transition to the next
chord. That might explain what I heard was "extra notes" instead.
