Starkid is an alias of Adam Spears a young producer from Texas, USA who became known for his breakthrough hit "Crayons" when it was featured on Nick Warren's Global Underground Reykjavik mix and played by progressive DJ's all around the world. Unfortunately, his output was cut short when he was fatally injured in a car accident in July 2004, at the age of 18.
