Verse

C#m
Oh, what webs we unfold
E
at the end of the world
G#m E
Life was cruel at the end of your rifle

C#m
So with pride on my side
E
and plans to bury you alive
G#
with the carnivores, clowns, and lions

C#m
all the games I had rigged
E
like the suicide bridge
G#m E
where I'd take you and wait for a while

C#m
all the sad long goodbyes
E
and the fake alibis
G#
you buy new or used without passion

[Verse 2]

C#m
Well you are by one
E
as your poor souls awake,
G#m E
But still no sound their lips to make.

C#m
As our twisted souls
E
rise from cold, old Earth.
G#
These are fruits of all our work.

E G#m A E
[Vocalization]

E
So I wrote "Goodbye"
on the mirror by the light.
G#m
It was thundering and lighting.
It was the middle of the night.
A E
These are the roads that we're already been down?

E
In your imagination
you see a face for love.
G#m
Someone to come along with,
instead of coming on and on.
A E
Is there ever anybody out there?

E
But your mummy didn't love you
and your daddy didn't care.
G#m
They left you with a good friend
left you hanging in the air.
A E
Was there was anybody out there?

[Vocalization 2]

C#m
Now all those frozen hours
G#m
melted into time.
A
Left with the reflection
E
in the mirror of your mind.

C#m
Sometimes you hear voices
you hear voices in your hall.
G#m
You wake up and you're screaming 'cause
There's no one there at all.
A
These are the roads that we're already been down.
E
These are the roads that we're already been down.

E
A horrible hardened soul.
G#m
Got plenty of money, though
A E
what it's worth you just don't know.

E
So listen to me now
G#m
This could be our shining hour
A E
based on all that mad deceit.

E
But horrible hearts exposed
G#m
watching as the money goes.
A E
Still what it's worth you just don't know

F#m B
but I deceived you so long.
E
Bye Bye.
