En 1994 dos amigos del barrio, Paulo Funes Lorea (Chuk) y Patricio Esteban Castelao (Patrick Steve), se juntan en sus casas para tocar algunos covers con guitarras acústicas. Con el paso del tiempo comienzan a componer sus propios temas e integran a sus amigos Ariel Roman, Nicolás Garoni y Pablo Molla en un grupo al que denominan “The nerds”
