Fallen Horses

Smashmouth
Tabbed by John Lofgren Oviedo FL
In the key of D (not the same as the original)
Makes a nice fingerpicking song in a more mellow voicing

D
A long summers day
Am
stretching out the cold
D
searching for the answers
Am
and some say i'm not alone
Em G
could you tell me
D
where i might find
Em G D
fallen horses their spirits they fly

D
blinded by the whiteness
Am
staring at the sun
D
i'm wishing that i had wings
Am
so that i could become one
Em G
would you help me
D
if i wanted to die
Em G F#
i could ride off with horses tonight

D Am
tell me why why oh why
D Am
i said why why oh why

now that i've arrived here
i know i'm not alone
all my friend among me
tell me welcome home
but could you tell me
where i might find
the one i'm looking for
cause here wings have arrived

D Am
tell me why why oh why
D Am
i said why why oh why
