[Verse 1]

D A Bm
Oh the things we see through connected wires
D A Bm
Are the people that flee from friendly fire
A G A Bm
When they seperate me and I'm being stored
D A Bm
With all the recessed genes that are left ignored

[Pre-Chorus]

A G
Getting naked all the time
A G
While you dodge the friendly fire

[Chorus]

Bm A D G
So who could ever break you down
Bm A D G
And what could ever freak you out
Bm A D G
If you can carry this around
Bm A D G
Then you will never break down

[Verse 2]

D A Bm
People I meet on the weekend mourn
D A Bm
For all the weekday freaks that are free and bored
A G A Bm
Like they physically stormed in their homes
D A Bm
Collect whatever they need just to feel employed

[Pre-Chorus]

A G
A little wasted on desire
A G
A minute later friendly fire
E
A little wasted on desire
E
A minute later friendly fire

[Chorus]

Bm A D G
So who could ever break you down
Bm A D G
And what could ever freak you out
Bm A D G
If you can carry this around
Bm A D G
Then you will never break down
