Queen of My Double Wide Trailer Sammy Kershaw Capo#2

G F G F G F C

G C
Well, I met her out at Murphy's Restaurant
F C G
She said she was fresh from the farm
C
And I remember thinkin' for a country girl
F C G
That she went pretty well armed
C
We sat there talkin' by the lobster tank
F C G
I ordered her a sloe gin fizz
G C
And when the chicken fried steaks arrived
F C D
She said I like living like this.

G C G
So I made her the queen of my double wide trailer
Em D C
With the polyester curtains and the redwood deck
G C G
Sometimes she runs and I got to trail her
Em D C G F G F G F C
dang her black heart and her pretty red neck.

G C
A few nights later I run into her
F C G
with some stranger on a park bench
C
she said he rebuilds engines and his name is Earl
F C G
he's the Charlie Daniels of the torque wrench
C
I whispered honey let's just go on home
F C G
and have some onion rings and watch TV
C
and as I walked her to the truck
F C D
Earl was cryin' don't you leave me I told him

G C G
this here's the queen of my double wide trailer
Em D C
With the polyester curtains and the redwood deck
G C G
Sometimes she runs and I got to trail her
Em D C
dang her black heart and her pretty red neck.

G C G Em D C G C G Em D C

G C G
I said this here's the queen of my double wide trailer
Em D C
With the polyester curtains and the redwood deck

Sometimes she runs and I got to trail her

dang her black heart and her pretty red neck.

G C G
I said this here's the queen of my double wide trailer
