Probably lots of room for improvement, but it's the closest to what I hear in the song.
Hopefully someone will now make an even better version!

[Verse]

G F C G F C
James don't forget yourself when you're across the water
G F C
Those sirens sing songs of love do they know what you're made of
G F C
cause it might not be across the water now

Am C G
Be sure to pack a good alarm
Am C G
to pick you up in the morning to turn your head to things that may go wrong and
F C G
though the arms of a lover can be so comforting
F C G
We all need a little warning, sometimes. James

[Verse]

G F
Now love I have seen you wear pulled over your eyes
C G F C
thorugh a small tear I have seen my best friend crying
G F C
Five thousand miles you wish to roam and there you'll build a new
G F C
home under the hot sun but it is what your burning for now

[Chorus]

Am C G
Nobody wants to live alone,
Am C G
We all know it's better to share than to own
F C G
And though the arms of a lover can be so comforting,
F C G
we all need a little warning

[Chorus]

Am C G
Nobody wants to live alone,
Am C G
We all know it's better to share than to own
F C G
And though the arms of a lover can be so comforting,
F C G
we all need a little warning

Sometimes... James
