RX Bandits

G2G

by RX Bandits
RX Bandits

Biography:

Rx Bandits is a four-member band based in Seal Beach, California, United States. Their musical style is an eclectic mix of progressive rock, punk, and reggae deemed groove tech by the band.

The band started out in 1995, amid other popular southern California ska-influenced acts such as Reel Big Fish and No Doubt. Of the original line-up, only singer/songwriter Matt Embree and drummer Chris Tsagakis remain. Their first two releases were recorded with bassist James Salomone and trombonist Rich Balling.

This is a hypothetical acoustic version of "G2G" that I think is fun to play.
Tuning: half-step down

I named the chords as follows, even though they're not really these chords because of tuning:
D#|------3--------0---2---2--------------------------------------1--|
A#|------0---3----2---3---2-----2------7----8-----10-----3---5---1--|
F#|--5---0---4----2---2---2-----3------7----9-----11-----3---5---2--|
C#|--5---0---4----2---0---4-----2------7----9-----11-----3---5---3--|
G#|--5---2---2----0-------4------------5----7-----9------1---3---3--|
D#|--3---3----------------2--------------------------------------1--|
Gsus G Bm A D F#m C#m6 D* Em* F#m* A# C* F
^In the chorus, I think it sounds better to play some chords like so.
I guess you could play all the chords higher on the fret board like
this if you want some consistency. Up to you.

Enjoy
-gladly
