Biography:
Rough Trade foi uma banda de pop/rock new wave canadense, famosa principalmente por suas letras ousadas, muitas vezes com conteúdo político-sexual. A banda, desde sua formação no final dos anos 60, teve diversos integrantes, porém, Carole Pope (vocalista e compositora) e Kevan Staples (multi-instrumentista e compositor) sempre foram o foco das atenções. Apesar de terem apenas 6 álbuns gravados entre 1976 e 1985, Rough Trade é um dos grandes nomes da New Wave canadense.
