Rocky Votolato

Biography:

Rocky Votolato is an American musician. He was born in rural Texas in 1978, though was raised in the Pacific Northwest. When his former band Lying on Loot disbanded in 1996, Rocky Votolato, along with friends Rudy Gajadhar (drums) and Andrew Hartley (bass), started playing under the name Waxwing. Rocky's younger brother Cody (The Blood Brothers) soon joined the band on second guitar, and the band recorded their debut 7" for Henry's Finest Recordings.

Sometimes it's more convenient to play the barre chord than the open chord.
Also, at the end of the lines in the verses, he likes to play the C# (note, not chord)
the A chord (second fret on the b string if you're playing an open A chord or sixth fret
the g string if you're playing the barre chord.
If this doesn't make sense, disregard it.
