Rainsquall by Richard Buckner
Album: Bloomed

[Verse 1]
Am C G Bm C G
The clouds break up a little, then, here comes the rain again
Am Em G Am Em
G C Bm D
As the rain breaks through the branches along southbound forty-two
Am C Em D
The green I grew left us wet-eyed red and bluebird blue
G C Bm D
The moon was cryin' through the breaking clouds as I pour through another town
Am C Em D
There's lights off the coast and I love you most when the rain comes weepin' down

[Chorus]
G D Em
Rain squall, dear, that's me you hear
Am C G Bm C G
And when the blue breaks through, honey I still want you
Am Em G Am Em

[Verse 2]
G C Bm D
What i said my darlin' and what you did my dear
Am C Em D
Has left us in a downpour of misery and tears
G C Bm D
And where are you tonight I wonder, my wonder where are you
Am C Em D
As the rain breaks through the branches along southbound forty-two

[Chorus]
G D Em
Rain squall, dear, that's me you hear
Am C G Bm C G
And when the storm moves on, dear I might be gone
Am Em G Am Em G C Bm D Am C Em D

G D Em
Rain squall, dear, that's me you hear
Am C G Bm C G
And when the blue breaks through, honey I still want you
Am C G Bm C G
And when the storm moves on, dear I might be gone
Am C G Bm C G
The clouds break up a little then, here comes the rain again

Am Em G Am Em
the rain again
G Am Em G
