Hi, in verse 1, for the G play only the bass. also if you play this on piano I liked very much
the Bbmaj7, but on guitar sound better the Bb....it's more a piano song.
In verse she change from Gm to Bb in every beat...so don't pay so much atention, just follow the
rhythm and you will get it.
As always, suggestions are welcome.

G/G 3xxxxx

[Verse 1]
N.C.
The trapper and the furrier went walking through paradise
N.C.
And all the animals lay clawless and toothless before them
N.C.
And all the mothers stepped away from their babies
N.C.
Leaving them open and easy to handle
G/G
The trapper and the furrier went walking through paradise
G/G
They took some for now and they got some for later
G/G
And they marveled at the pelts, not a bullet hole in them
G/G
And they filled up the cages with pets for their children

[Chorus]
C Bbmaj7 Gm Bb Gm Bb
What a strange, strange world we live in
C Bbmaj7 Gm Bb Gm Bb
Where the good are damned and the wicked forgiven
C Bbmaj7 Gm Bb Gm Bb
What a strange, strange world we live in
C Bbmaj7 Gm
Those who don't have lose, those who got get given
Gm Bb Gm Bb Gm Bb Gm Bb

[Verse 2]
Gm Bb Gm Bb Gm Bb
The owner and the manager went walking through paradise
Gm Bb Gm Bb Gm Bb
And all the shelves were filled with awards and achievements
Gm Bb Gm Bb
And on every corner, a power presentation
Gm Bb Gm Bb Gm Bb
And on every floor, an army of workers
Gm Bb Gm Bb Gm Bb
The owner and the manager went walking through paradise
Gm Bb Gm Bb Gm Bb
And all their charts showed so much promise and progress
Gm Bb Gm Bb Gm Bb
No sick days, no snow days, no unions, no taxes
Gm Bb Gm Bb Gm Bb
And they wandered towards home, kings of their castles

[Verse 3]
Gm Bb Gm Bb Gm Bb
The lawyer and the pharmacist went walking through paradise
Gm Bb Gm Bb Gm Bb
And all the sick were around them with fevers unbreaking
Gm Bb Gm Bb Gm Bb
Crying and bleeding and coughing and shaking
Gm Bb Gm Bb Gm Bb
And arms outstretched, prescription-collecting
Gm Bb Gm Bb Gm Bb
The lawyer and the pharmacist went walking through paradise
Gm Bb Gm Bb Gm Bb
Pressed suits in a courtroom, aroma of chloroform
Gm Bb Gm Bb Gm Bb
And they smiled at the judge, disposition so sunny
Gm Bb Gm Bb Gm Bb
Cause they didn't have the cure but sure needed the money

[Chorus]
C Bbmaj7 Gm Bb Gm Bb
What a strange, strange world we live in
C Bbmaj7 Gm Bb Gm Bb
Where the good are damned and the wicked forgiven
C Bbmaj7 Gm Bb Gm Bb
What a strange, strange world we live in
C Bbmaj7 Gm
Those who don't have lose, those who got get given
