by Poco
Poco

Biography:

Poco, founded in 1968 by Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Richie Furay and Jim Messina (both inducted 1997 with Buffalo Springfield), was one of the earliest in the "Country rock" genre that was later commercially popularized by bands such as the Eagles. The band was completed by Rusty Young (pedal steel guitar, dobro, banjo and mandolin) Randy Meisner on bass and George Grantham on drums. Verse 1
G D
I remember the feeling not so long ago
Am
The kids come dancin', their hearts were romancin'
C D
And the music was live 'Poco'.
G D
Some called it country some called 'rock'n'roll'
Am
But whatever the sound it was sure to be found
C D
With a heart of rhythm and soul.
Em C G D
Do you remember then how it was when it all began
Em C D
Do you remember then how the music made you feel
G
When it all began

Chorus:
Am C D G Am C D
Ooh, ooh do you remember when
D G
When it all began
Am C D G Am C D
Ooh, ooh do you remember when

New York and Boston yea we sure had some fun
Summer nights in the park and when the music would start
Ooh, what a time and then some.
We sang together "a good feelin' to know"
Yea we turned it up loud gave our hearts to the crowd
But then came the end of the show.

Do you remember then how it was when it all began
Do you remember then how the music made you feel
When it all began.

Ooh, ooh, do you remember when,
When it all began
Ooh, ooh, do you remember when.
Bridge
Bm C
To capture the moment to make it ours for all time
Bm C
I know we can just remember how it was

oh now ooh, ooh, do you remember when
how the music play ooh, ooh, do you remember when
when it all began ooh, ooh, do you remember when
all know ooh, ooh, do you remember when

do you remember, do you remember when, do you remember.
