#1.
Fm
Life is never what it seems, we're always searching
C Fm
in our dreams to find that little castle in the air.
Fm
When worry starts to cloud the mind, it's hard to
C
leave it all behind and just pretend you haven't got
Fm
a care.

#2.
Eb Ab Eb
There's someone else in your imagination, you wish that
Ab
you were standing in their shoes.
G C G F
You'd change your life without much hesitation but would
G C
you if you really had to choose?
Fm Dm Ab Fm Bb
So, don't look around, get your feet on the ground, it's
Gbm Eb B Gbm B
much better by far, to be just who your are.

CHORUS:
E A Gbm B
The other man's grass is always greener..the sun shines
Gbm E
brighter on the other side.
E A Gbm E B
The other man's grass is always greener..some are lucky,
E Gbm E B E
some are not..just be thankful for what you've got.

INTERLUDE: C F Eb Db C

#3.
Fm
Many times it seems to me there's someone else I'd rather
C Fm
be..living in a world of make-believe.
Fm
To stay in bed till nearly three with nothing there to worry
C Fm
me..it'd seem to be the life I might achieve.

#4.
Eb Ab Eb
But deep inside I know I'm really lucky..with happiness I've
Ab
never known before.
G C G
And just as long as you are there beside me..I know that I
C
could ask for nothing more.
Fm Dm Ab Fm Bb Gbm
And living can start with the love in your heart..so, with you
B A Gbm B
all the time, all the treasures I long for are mine.

CHORUS:
E A Gbm B
The other man's grass is always greener..the sun shines
Gbm E
brighter on the other side.
E A Gbm E B
The other man's grass is always greener..some are lucky,
E Gbm E B E
some are not..I'm so thankful for what I've got.

CHORUS:
E A Gbm B
Yes, the other man's grass is always greener..the sun shines
Gbm E
brighter on the other side.
E A Gbm E B
The other man's grass is always greener..some are lucky,
E Gbm E B E
some are not..I'm so thankful for what I've got..(don't you
know it, now?)

OUTRO:
E A Gbm B
Yes, the other man's grass is always greener..the sun shines
Gbm E
brighter on the other side..(Fade.)
