Peace - Money

Capo 3

Basically in it's most simplest form, it's the same 3 chords throughout but it's possible to make an pretty
interesting acoustic variation by switching in some sustained chords and playing the riffs along with basic
chords forms.

Chords used
Em - |022000|
C - |-32010|
Am - |-02210|

Sometimes nice to switch in Cmaj7 - |-32000| for C and Asus(?) - |-022000| for variation.
These chord forms also make it easier to play the riffs along as they only really need one or two fingers.

---------------------

Intro:
Em - C Am (x2)

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Main Riff (relative to capo)
e|--5---5-3-5---5-3-5-7---3-------3-| e|--5-7---3-------3-5-7---3---------|
B|----------------------------5-----| B|------------5---------------5-----|
G|----------------------------------| (x3) G|----------------------------------| (x1)
D|----------------------------------| D|----------------------------------|
A|----------------------------------| A|----------------------------------|
E|----------------------------------| E|----------------------------------|
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

---------------------

Verse 1:

Em
Welcome little teethers,
Welcome to a world
C
Where bitcoins pay for beatings
Am
And diamonds pay for girls.
Em
So go find all the pennies,
The ones that people ditch.
C
You're going to be happy
Em
You're going to be rich.

---------------------

Chorus 1:

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
There's a nice bass/synth (not totally sure which) riff that playing in the chorus that can pretty easily
be played with the chords for something a bit more interesting

Chorus Riff (relative to capo)
Em C Am
e|--3---2---0-------------------------------------------------------|
B|--------------3---0-----------------------------------------------|
G|----------------------2---0---------------------------------------|
D|------------------------------4---2---0---------------------------|
A|------------------------------------------3---2---0---------------|
E|------------------------------------------------------------------|
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Em
Money
C
Do you need it?
Am
Do you eat it when you're
Em
hungry?
C Am
Does it taste good?

---------------------

REPEAT INTRO RIFF BETWEEN CHORUS 1 AND VERSE 2

Em - C Am (x2)

---------------------

Verse 2:
Em
The man who's made of money
Was terrible to kiss
C
Not because he's sloppy
Am
Because his paper lips
Em
Stuck to you on contact
But as you cease they rip.
C
You hear the world is spinning
Am
It's not the coin that flips.

---------------------

Chorus 2: (same as 1)

Em
Money
C
Do you need it?
Am
Do you eat it when you're
Em
hungry?
C Am
Does it taste good?

---------------------

Bridge:

(pause) Em
Find me something new to chew on.
C Am
Grunting anything 'cause all I want is everything but settling.

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
(Note, at this point, the guitar comes in with a riff over the top. Easily ignored if you're just sticking
to the chords but it's roughly something like this)

e|--------|
B|--------|
G|------0-| (x3) PAUSE
D|--0/2---|
A|--------|
E|--------|

e|--------| |------5-3----|
B|--------| |-------------|
G|------0-| (x3) |-------------| |______(x5)
D|--0/2---| |--0h2--------| |
A|--------| |-------------| /
E|--------| |-------------| /
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Em
Stay strong.
C
On the writing on the paper wall
Am
The letter on the filthy floor
Em
Is anybody happy, growing slowly up?
C Am
You were never happy, I was not enough
Em
Supersize me, nepotise me
Open wide me
Poison slightly
C
Daily slop inside inside the box
Am
As a kid in full or arctic fox

---------------------

Chorus 3:

Em
Money
C
Do you need it?
Am
Do you eat it when you're
Em
hungry?
C Am
Does it taste good?

---------------------

Outro:

Same as Intro, no chords for the first bar of the riff

- Em C Am
Em - C Am
End on Em

---------------------

Hope you enjoyed, rate if you liked it, feel free to comment with suggestions or corrections!
I may upload an acoustic cover of this in the future and link it to give a better idea of how the riffs and
chords mix
