Have you ever heard a lonely church bell ring?
D Bm F#m A
Have you ever heard a crying angel sing?
D Bm F#m A
From a distance from a distance you can hear a crying angel sing
Bm F#m G A D (D Bm F#m A)
She's crying for the sadness tomorrow sins may bring

D Bm F#m A
Oh, have you ever seen a star fall from the sky?
D Bm F#m A
From a distance it looks just like heaven's lost an eye
D Bm F#m A
From a distance from a distance looks like heaven's lost an eye
Bm F#m G A D
Now there's once last for God to see you and I

A F#m Bm A
Faith my friend is so hard to recognize
G A F#m A
When you're traveling all alone in the night

From a distance the highest building still looks very small
D Bm F#m A
From a distance from a distance the highest building still looks small

Oh we can't measure anyone or anything at all

When you're traveling all alone in the night (just look for the lonesome)

D Bm F#m A
Have you ever heard a lonely church bell ring?
D Bm F#m A
Have you ever heard a crying angel sing?
D Bm F#m A
From a distance from a distance you can hear a crying angel sing
