Olin And The Moon

Footsteps

by Olin And The Moon
Olin And The Moon

Biography:

Spawning from the jagged, green, and snow crusted mountains of Sun Valley, Idaho the founding members of Olin and the Moon came together at a young age and have played music of all kinds over the years. Singer/Songwriter David LaBrel along with his brother and lead guitarist Travis, joined forces with drummer Marshall Vore to create a strong bond and musical friendship. After moving to Los Angeles the boys met up with Brian McGinnis and Kyle Vicioso to create the final lineup of Olin and the Moon.

[Intro]
C F G C

[Verse 1]
C F
I sit quiet next to you
G
so I don't bother you
Am
Say it'd be fine if I wanted to.
C F
If you don't it's for the best
G
'Cause nothing ever happens fast
Am
It's all in a good time.

[Chorus]
F G
But footsteps on a hard wooded floor
C
like the rythm of a patient heart
G
and then tomorrows gonna come.
F G
Like when you take your next breath,
C
let it out, take another one again.
G
I'm as s/ure as a kid can be.
F G C
You're gonna be alright, when I count to three.

[Verse 2]
C F
And there you are looking more at me
G
wondering what I think.
Am
I see it pouring off your face
C F
And I'm trying to find out what you mean.
G
I guess I'll just wait and see
Am
You say it's all in a good time.

[Chorus]
F G
But footsteps on a hard wooded floor
C
like the rythm of a patient heart
G
and then tomorrows gonna come.
F G
Like when you take your next breath,
C
let it out, take another one again.
G
I'm as s/ure as a kid can be.
F G C
You're gonna be alright, when I count to three.

[Chorus]
F G
But footsteps on a hard wooded floor
C
like the rythm of a patient heart
G
and then tomorrows gonna come.
F G
Like when you take your next breath,
C
let it out, take another one again.
G
I'm as s/ure as a kid can be.
F G C
You're gonna be alright, when I count to three.
