[Intro]
G G G G G D Em C
D D C D G G G G

G C G
I don't wanna hear you talking loud about the way you think the world should be
E Am D
Oh, carrying on them cruel intentions wicked ways for everyone to see
G/B C
Lord knows there's far too many people spreading hatred like a disease
G D G
So, quit all your malcontent and try to love your brother if you please

[Chorus]
C G
It's an already mean enough world
C G
No, we don't need no more out of you
C G D Em C
So, quit your cussing, carrying on and fighting that you do
G D C D G
It's an already mean enough world, baby without you

G C G
Don't rope me in your politics or spin me in your tangled web of lies
E Am D
I do not wish to be weighed down by ugliness nor hear what you des- pies
G/B C
Me, I'd rather not be forced to walk a mile in shoes too narrow for my size
G D G
So, un- clench your fists a minute and re- place them with some peace of mind

[Chorus]
C G
Oh, 'cause it's an already mean enough world
C G
No, we don't need no more out of you
C G D Em C
So, quit your cussing, carrying on and fighting that you do
G D C D G
It's an already mean enough world, baby without you

Em D
Seems like every way the world goes round, someone's there to knock you down
C G
Well, mama that don't make no sense to me
Em D
Them haunted dreams I've laid to rest, the chains you locked around my chest
C A/E D
I've busted loose and now I'm running free

[Solo]
C C G G C C G G
C C G D Em C G D C D G G G G

G C G
Well lately I been thinking that the future holds all our worst fears
E Am D
That humankind will never learn the lessons of the last three thousand years
G/B C
It's still an eye an eye and tooth for tooth but it's not too late to lend an ear
G D G
And stop all this hating be- fore we all disap- pear

[Chorus]
C G
Oh, it's an already mean enough world
C G
No, we don't need no more out of you
C G D Em C
So quit your cussing, carrying on and fighting that you do
G D C D G
It's an already mean enough world, baby without you

[Chorus]
C G
Yeah, it's an already mean enough world
C G
No, we don't need no more out of you
C G D Em C
So quit your cussing, carrying on and fighting that you do
G D C D G G G G
It's an already mean enough world, baby without you -----
