[Verse]
G C
Misty, when you want to hit those wedding bells,
Am G C
you should stop yourself. You should see yourself angry.
G C
Screaming to the ceiling, girl, you look like hell.
Am C
But when riding pills we get heavenly,
G C Am C
on a balcony.

[Verse]
G C
And baby's not a wreck on the wayside yet,
Am G C
although she stuck out her neck to see how dark she could take it.
G C
The wind is wild. Why, the spray is wet!
Am C
And a heart gets high as a heart can get,

[Chorus]
G C Am C
on a balcony,
G C Am C
high above the sea.

[Verse]
G C
You are the woman, on some Firefall.
Am G C
Do you wanna ball on that brilliant beach?
G C
So hard I thought I hear my future daughter call
Am C
through the static wall of a flashing dream.

[Bridge]
Am F
And it's a wild, weaving ride to the sea.
G C
Little demon, believe it from me.
Am C Am
They say that you're living off something-and-soda,
C F G Am C
some fine wine from 1983. They say you're a fantas y.

[Instrumental]
G C Am C

[Verse]
G C
Clap, like a comma. Hear the sentence sing.
Am
Hear the whole world ring.
G C
Hey, it's bursting with bravery.
G C Am C
And, Misty, when it's whittled down to just one thing it amazes me, that simplicity.

[Verse]
G C
I wandered through the supermarket like a slumming king.
Am G C
And the sun, it stings. Hell, I hadn't seen the sun for weeks.
G C Am
When we finally walk away from everything on our own four feet,
C
I hear you call my name

[Chorus]
G C Am C
from a balcony,
G C Am C
high above the sea.

[Outro]
G C Am C
I hear you call from a balcony.
G G G G G G G C
And I like the way you say it.
