Biography:
Esta impresionante cantante nació en Birmingham, Alabama. Cuando tenía seis años se mudó con su hermana pequeña y su madre a Los Ángeles. Su madre comprendió el talento innato de su hija para la música y comenzó a sacar dinero de debajo de las piedras para poder pagarle las clases de canto. Más tarde un amigo se haría cargo del costo de las clases. Con 19 años tuvo su primera oportunidad en Los Ángeles, ciudad a la que se muda, participando de vez en cuando en espectáculos.
