Noah And The Whale - There Will Come A Time
From the album 'Heart Of Nowhere'

The song can simply be played with the G and D chords, but it sounds more interesting
with the Em between chords.

NOTE: This is a really simple version, and probably all wrong, but it sounds okay and is super
easy to play. Feel free to make an alternative tab or make corrections.

D G D G

D
One day things will turn out as planned

You'll have her in the palm of your hand
G (Em) D
But it's not tonight, no not tonight

D
One day she'll look at you and say

I never thought I could feel this way
G (Em) D
But it's not tonight, no not tonight

D
There will come a time
G (Em)
Where you will need your friends tonight
D
There will come a time
G
Where you will need someone tonight

D
One day she'll hang on to your arm

Chasing the night all the way 'til the dawn
G (Em) D
But it's not tonight, no not tonight

D
One day soon you'll find a way

To learn to align what you think and you say
G (Em) D
But it's not tonight, no not tonight

D
There will come a time
G (Em)
Where you will need your friends tonight
D
And there will come a time
G (Em)
Where you will need someone tonight

D G (Em)
And when it feels like everyone's turning their backs on you
D G (Em)
And when it feels like everyone's turning their backs on you
D G (Em)
Oh well the sun's not out but you know you got to see it through
D G (Em)
Oh well the sun's not out but you know you got to see it through

D G D G

D (single strum)
There will come a time
G (Em)
Where you will need your friends tonight
D
There will come a time
G (Em)
Where you will need someone tonight
[x3]
