"Maybe California" - Neal Casal - Fade Away Diamond Time - 1995
Transcribed by wranglingoutlaw

G D
He spent His life like a dollar
Am C
He lived it fast and lived it free
G D
And He took his time until He found one
Am C
Farther than all Our eyes could see

D C G
Maybe someday, maybe somewhere I will see You
Am C G
in the blue Kentucky hills Or maybe California

G | D | Am | C

G D
He never worked for too long
Am C
He was just best to believe
G D
In a stolen line from an old song
Am C
Or maybe saving some lost melody

D C G
Maybe someday, maybe somewhere I will see You
Am C G
living in those Georgia pines Or maybe Sedona

F | G | F ..

Am
So may these pages bring your words to life
F
May it all begin on some quiet night
C
Don't forget the old times My friend
D
'cause You know they were good times

G D
He never knew where the end was
Am C
Or even if He'd live to see
G D
Or hear again from another
Am C
Who didn't treat him like some memory

D C G
Maybe someday, maybe somewhere I will see You
Am C G
in the blue Kentucky hills Or maybe California
D C G
Maybe someday, maybe somewhere I will see You
Am C G
living in those Georgia pines singing an old song
