Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson - Buriedfed

Intro:

Dm G C C/B Am

C C/B Am

C G Am
This is my last song about myself, about my friends
C C/B Am
Found something else to sing
C G
Try and patch it up with tape and twine
Am C C/B Am
Babe, I just break everything that's mine

Dm
They wheeled out my casket,
G
They said, "Boy, lay down your head"
C C/B Am
I said, "Aw shit, man, I ain't even dead"
F
I won't be buried 'fore I'm..." (fed)

C G
Well you know your friend, who's a real yo-yo
Am C
And she's always crying, and no one knows why
C/B Am
She's gonna be alright
C G
Lost her best in a fuzzy fight
Am C C/B Am
Wasn't even drunk, just a little tight last night

Dm
They took her to the doctor
G
To fix her heart, and heal her head
C C/B Am
She said, "Goddamn, I'm tired of being bled
F
Go save somebody else in..." (stead)

C G
Friend of mine drank something fine,
Am C C/B Am
Choked to death before his time, last night
C G
He said, "Find that thing you really need,
Am C C/B Am
Cough it on down 'til you can't breathe, alright."

Dm G
Everyone'll be there at the burial in your head
C C/B Am
And a tear or two, they'll shed
Dm G
Then they're gonna go, leave you in your hole
C C/B Am
And find someone else instead
F C C/B Am
Make someone else feel dead instead

C G
Oh, he didn't like people much at all
Am
They tasted better with alcohol, you know
C C/B Am
How that one goes
C G
He realized he'dd missed his whole life
Am C C/B Am
Kissed his dog and shot his wife last night

Dm
And they pulled him to a priest,
G
Police said, "Pray your final prayers"
C C/B Am
He said, "Aw shit, man, I don't even care
F
Oh, I ain't fit and nothing's..." (fair)

C G
They read the clue in his killin' eyes,
Am
Went and found his victim who was still alive
C C/B Am
My, my, what a surprise
C G
She shook the dirt from her rotten hair,
Am C
Said, "You boys are late, but I don't care

C/B Am
Better late than never, dear."

Dm
They took her to the prison,
G
She sat across from him, and sighed
C C/B Am
She said, "Fuck you, I wanted just to die
Dm G
How come you, baby boy, you
C C/B Am
You can't do a damn thing right
F
You can't do any damn thing right"

C C/B Am

C G
This is my last song I write inside
Am C C/B Am
I'm going out, find somewhere else to hide
C G
Late at night on an empty street
Am C C/B Am
Everyone I know walking beside me

C G
Well, I ain't done a damn thing right
Am C
But I want one try, before I die
C/B Am
How 'bout tonight

Dm
They wheeled out my casket,
G
They said, "Boy, lay down your head"
C C/B Am
I said, "Believe me, I wish that I was dead "
F
But as long as I've been running
G C C/B Am
Well, this one thing stunning is this big hole in my head

F
But as long as I've been running
F
Well, I might just be becoming
F C C/B Am
Some. One. Else. Instead

C C/B Am (x3)
(yeeee-ay!) (x3)

Dm G
How come you, baby boy, you
C C/B Am
You can't do a damn thing right
F Dm C
You can't do any damn thing right
