Mike McClure

Dont Fear To Tread

by Mike McClure
Mike McClure

Biography:

Hailing from Stillwater, Oklahoma, The Great Divide was a grass roots working band that attempted to meet the country music industry head on with its work ethic, tenacity, genuine likeability, and hard-hitting style. Over the past fifteen years The Great Divide steadily progressed the hill of the unforgiving music industry, proving not only their musical talents, but also their business savvy before disbanding in 2007.

In 1993 the group formed their own record label, publishing company and operating company, and began recording.

Cadd9 F
you're beautiful
Cadd9 F
I don't know if you know it
Cadd9 F
you've got murder in your smile
Cadd9 F
it kills me every time you show it

and I'm dangerous,
cause I made you forget
all those promises
you had not broken yet

Cadd9 F Cadd9
ple - ase, don't fear to tread
F
come take my hand
Cadd9 F
you must be the reason
Cadd9 F
why the legion of angels in my head
Cadd9 F
fired up their band
Cadd9 F
come take my hand

you're mysterious
and mystery turns me on
you've got me thinking
in a moment I could be gone

you drain my senses
I get lost in your glow
and I've got a wicked hand of my own
you're forcing me to show

repeat chorus

bridge:
G F Cadd9
it would take a lifetime or two i could forget you
G F
it would take a lifetime or two
Cadd9 F
but why would I want to be free

repeat chorus
