G C
Well you left me in the spring the snow was melting

D7 G
And I grieved all through the summer and the fall

C
Now it's deep December and you know what honey

A7
It's just too hard to remember

D7 G
I'm gonna go to Gilley's and have a ball

C
It's gonna be a honky tonk Christmas this year

D7 G
Now since you've gone I can't go on no more

C
The house just seems so empty and your memory so dear

D7 G
It's gonna be a honky tonk Christmas this year

C
Well it's playing Christmas records on that old jukebox

D7 G
Yall remember Brenda Lee she's rocking around the tree

C A7
Well I feel so all alone girl Lord I wish you'd come back home

D7 G
Happiness is just a memory

C
It's gonna be a honky tonk Christmas this year

D7 G
Now since you've gone I can't go on no more

C
The house just seems so empty and your memory so dear

D7 G
It's gonna be a honky tonk Christmas this year

D7 G
It's gonna be a honky tonk Christmas this year
