#1.
C F
If I could rate them on a scale from one to ten.
G C
I'm looking for a nine but eight could work

right in.
C
Few more drinks and I might slip to five or even
F
four.
G
But when tomorrow morning comes, and I wake up
G C
with a number one..I swear I'll never do it anymore.

CHORUS:
C Fm
All the girls all get prettier at closing
F
time.
G C G
Oh, they all begin to look like movie stars.
C Fm
All the girls all get prettier at closing
F
time.

INTERLUDE: C F D G C F G C

#2.
C Fm F
I don't mean to criticize the girls, at all.
G C
Cause I'm no Robert Redford, even overhauled.
G C
But we all picture in our minds a girl that looks
F
just right.
G
Now, ain't it funny, ain't it strange, the way a

man's opinions change, when he starts to face
C
that lonely night.

CHORUS:
C Fm
All the girls all get prettier at closing
F
time.
G C G
Oh, they all begin to look like movie stars.
C Fm
All the girls all get prettier at closing
F
time.
G Gm7 G
When the change starts taking place, it puts
Gm7 G
a glow on every face..of the fallen angels
G C
of the back street bars.
