Michael Monroe, cuyo verdadero nombre es Matti Fagerholm, nació el 17 de Junio de 1962. Es un músico de rock finlandés. Es mejor conocido como el cantante de la banda de glam rock Hanoi Rocks, pero también fue frontman de otros proyectos alternos, como Demolition 23. y Jerusalem Slim (con Steve Stevens).

Monroe ha hecho duetos con Axl Rose y Slash de Guns N' Roses. La canción "Dead, Jail Or Rock'n'Roll" de su álbum solista Not Fakin' It, de 1989 recibió atención y su videoclip, con la aparición de Rose, fue transmitido en MTV.
