[Verse 1]
G A D G A D
I have often dreamed, of a far off place
G A Bm D A
Where a hero's welcome, would be waiting for me
G A D G A D
Where the crowds will cheer, when they see my face
G A Bm D A
And a voice keeps saying, "this is where I'm meant to be

[Chorus]
D Em D A
I'll be there someday, I can go the distance
D A Bm A
I'll find my way, if I can be strong
D A G Bm Em
I'll know every mile, will be worth my while
G A D Bm A D
When I go the distance I'll be right where I belong

[Verse 2]
G A D G A D
Down an unknown road, To embrace my fate
G A Bm D A
Though the road may wander, It will lead me to you
G A D G A D
And a thousand years,Would be worth the wait
G A Bm D A
It may take a lifetime,But somehow I'll see it through

[Chorus]
D Em D A
And I won't look back, I can go the distance
D A Bm A
And I'll stay on track, No I won't accept defeat
D A G Bm Em
It's an uphill slope, But I won't lose hope
G A D Bm A
Till I go the distance, And my journey is complete

[Bridge]
D G C
But to look beyond the glory is the hardest part
G C D
For a hero's strength is measured by his heart

[Chorus]
D Em D A
Like a shooting star, I can go the distance
G A Bm D A
I will search the world, I will face its harms
G A D G A D
I don't care how far, I can go the distance
G A Bm D A
Till I find my hero's welcome, Waiting in your arms...

[Verse 3]
D Em D A
I will search the world, I will face its harms
G A Bm D A
Till I find my hero's welcome, Waiting in your arms...
