Brad Cook, Joe Westerlund and Phil Cook originate from Durham, North Carolina, formerly of Amateur Love and DeYarmond Edison, which included Justin Vernon (Bon Iver). They now reside in Durham, North Carolina where they make Appalachian influenced Experimental Rock.
