He does a lot of hammering throughout, especially on the
D chord (hammer the high 'e' string) and some picking here and
there. It's not hard to find the strumming pattern even if you
don't do the hammers and picking ;)

anyways)and it sounds good, BUT just strum
those low strings EADG for it to sound best.
