C/G
I had a friend that used to call me all the time
Then he didn't, I don't know why
Fmaj7
Where we went wrong
C/G
It's been too long
C/G
The other day I thought I heard your name
So familiar, somehow so strange
Am
Can't make new old friends
Fmaj7
My door is open always

[CHORUS]
Am F C/G
So Don't be afraid to call me
Am F C/G
No matter how long it's been
Am F C/G
No You don't need no reason to call me
Am F C/G
Cause You know I'll be there in the end
Am F

[VERSE 2]
C/G
Back in the day we'd run this town
Had each other when trouble came around
Fmaj7
Whiskey and rye
C/G
Until we die
C/G
Then the storm came rolling in
You left, just like the wind
Am
butch without sundance
Fmaj7
I lost my right hand man Oohh

[CHORUS]
Am F C/G
So Don't be afraid to call me
Am F C/G
No matter how long it's been
Am F C/G
No You don't need no reason to call me
Am F C/G
Cause You know I'll be there in the end

[SOLO]
Am F C/G x4

[CHORUS]

Am F C/G
So Don't be afraid to call me
Am F C/G
No matter how long it's been
Am F C/G
No You don't need no reason to call me
Am F C/G
Cause You know I'll be there in the end

Am F C/G
So Don't be afraid to call me
Am F C/G
No matter how long it's been
Am F C/G
No You don't need no reason to call me
Am F C/G
Cause You know I'll be there in the end

*ONE STRUM
Am F C/G
Oh you know I'll be there in the end
Am F
Oh you know I'll be there in the end
